Marc Ellis Holland
Marc as a Bachelor of Arts, Performing Arts Dance degree from Point Park College. He was featured on Broadway in the hit musical CATS as Tumblebrutus and was a part of the cast of The Lion King. His experience also includes an International and National tour of “CATS;” National Tours of such musicals as La Cage Aux Folles, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Song and Dance, Guys and Dolls, and Jesus Christ Superstar; and television appearances in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the David Letterman Show, and numerous commercials. He is also an instructor at other area dance studios, Cecchetti certified, and has choreographed for local performing groups such as Meadville Community Theatre and Franklin Civic Operetta Association.
Layne Dittman
Layne is a graduate of Studio 22 Dance Academy. She is continuing her dance education through summer programs, workshops, and private study as well as taking classes in New York City. She is currently teaching ballroom dance with Darin Paden and she and Darin are competing professionally.
Deborah Femovich
Deborah is our Ballet Mistress here at Studio 22. She has received training from the Cascade Fine Arts Academy, Blue Lake Fine Arts Summer Intensive, Sally Seven Dance Studios, and the Champion Ballet Academy. She received undergraduate training at the University of Utah as a ballet major and Point Park College. Her Post Graduate studies include a PA Certification in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. Some of her professional experiences include 3 years performing in the University of Utah faculty performances and 4 years with the Grand Rapids Ballet Company. She has performed in such ballets as Coppelia, Giselle, Les Sylphides, Nutcracker Suite, Cinderella, Swan Lake, Carmen, Peter and the Wolf, and the Maple Leaf Rag to name a few.
Jackie Fike
Jackie danced previously in the Butler area, was a member of a studio competitive team, and also has been taking adult classes. She has also been a featured dancer in many Franklin Civic Operetta Association performances. Jackie will be teaching our younger dancers this year.
Darin Paden
Darin is a current student at the Studio and, in addition, he is also a Junior Worlds Champion couple dancer. Last summer Darin was chosen to attend the prestigious Pennsylvania Governor’s School of the Arts as on of the 30 dance majors. Darin is continuing his dance education through summer dance academies and workshops. This summer he will attend the Point Park College summer intensive. He is also teaching and professionally competing county and ballroom dance.
Zora Kurtz
Zora has over 25 years experience in teaching piano and organ.
Giles Bailey
Giles is a recording artist and teacher of guitar.
Sharon Davis
Sharon has been an instructor of electric, acoustic, and bass guitar for over 10 years.
Gary Marzolf, Yoga
Gary is an experienced and certified teacher of Yoga and has been teaching for many years.
Lori Hutson, Office Manager
Lori manages the studio office and coordinates studio record-keeping.
