Emma's Pole Dancing Competition 2013
This year EPDC added something a little extra to the competition and announced the first Aerial Hoop category! This allowed Advanced and Intermediate Hoopers a chance of competing.
With this exciting news our Studio 22 instructor Amy Williams and two of her students Christy Brimmer & Elle Young could not miss out on this amazing opportunity!
The competition was the same as last year, were all entrants Hoop & Pole provided a video of their routines which were assessed by an expert panel of judges, with five/six finalists from each category being invited to the annual final.

We want to say a massive well done to Christy & Elle for doing so well in their first ever competitions, they were so amazingly beautiful.

UK Professional Pole Championships 2012
A massive well done to our amazing owner and Instructor Amy Williams.
She competed in the UKPPC on 2nd December 2012 and placed 3rd in the Instructor category and won best entertainer of the competition!
We also want to say a well done to Sarah Scott who placed 2nd in the Elite category.
The UK Professional Pole Championships is the first competition in the UK to give professional dancers the opportunity to compete against their peers through our THREE professional categories - Instructor, Professional, and Elite. UKPPC aims to be a fair, ethical, professional, and transparent competition that recognises the athleticism and artistry of pole dance.

South West Amateur Pole Championships 2012
The competition offers pole students all across the South West and surrounding areas the chance to dance, perform and compete. The Grand Final featured 8 competitors in each category that had been selected from the video heat.
Congratulations to Rachel Brewer and Jo Barrett for competing in the finals of the 1st South West Amateur Pole Championships.
You were both amazing and we are so proud of you.

Britain Does Variety 2012
REGIONAL SHOWS - 26TH MAY 2012, EXETER
Britain does variety 2012 is a nationwide quest to prove that Britain really DOES have talent.
Acts from around Britain audition in front of a panel of industry judges to compete for a place in one of the britain does variety regional shows, which will take place in some of Britain's best theatres with each show staged and managed by an experienced, professional team.
The regional shows will take place in a total of 9 different locations across the UK and will be hosted by TV presenter Dave Payne whose TV career spans Channel 5, MTV, Living and Sky.
The best talent from each category in the Regional Shows, will be decided by the professional judging panel and the audience and will then go on to perform in the National Finals in June where they will compete for various prizes.

Congratulations to Studio 22 on their victory at the NSPDS 'Routine for the Nation' competition.

NSPDS Results
1st place = Studio 22 - They won 1st in both Categories 'Routine for the Nation' & 'Overall performance' (This includes extra points for technical elements of perfomance)
2nd place = Pole Affinity students Rochelle Hayward & Claire Nott came 2nd in both categories 'Routine for the Nation' & 'Overall performance' .
Taunton Dancers Mark Pole Dancing Day 2010
DANCERS in Taunton marked UK Pole Dance Day on Saturday.
Enthusiasts at Taunton's Studio 22 dance and fitness facility held free taster classes for men and women to mark the event.
A studio spokesman said: "It was a chance to show the country that our beloved dance form is a challenging, beautiful and skilful activity that brings a smile to the face of anyone who tries it."
