Pussycat Dolls Workshop Sunday 7th Feb 12-2pm £10

Learn a whole routine in one afternoon! A sexy and fun routine for all dance abilities. Come and have a giggle and learn some moves inspired by the ladies themselves.

Digitz

This dance style is rooted in an old-school rave style of dance. Its an illusionary style and its extremely creative with heavy emphasis on the expressive use of the hands and fingers. It has many similarities to body popping and alot of poppers are starting to use digits more in their style to add another movement dimension to their artillery of moves.

Its definatley one of the more recent emerging dance styles and a hell of a lot of fun and extremely creative. A great style on its own, to compliment your popping and streetdance or if you like clubbing and want to get serious with your dancing this is the original rave style.

Popping:

This style was born on the West Coast of America and developed out of styles such as strutting mime and boogalooing. It uses the technique of isolating body parts and popping the muscles to the beat.

The moonwalk, the robot and the strobe are all movements within the style of popping. With the birth of funk and electro music Popping and Locking became a very popular underground dance styles that were bought to main stream attention by entertainers such as Michael Jackson who was taught by Don Campbell and the Lockers. Once you have learnt the basics, you will be able to build up your own style and character of movement.
